Privacy Notice

1. Scope and responsibility

GoTuned is a GoEnhanced product. This draft covers the marketing site and the main data flows of the GoTuned application. A customer or event organizer may operate their own installation. Who controls session information depends on who operates the installation and chooses the purposes and features; those responsibilities must be confirmed for each offering. Contact privacy@goenhanced.com.

2. Website, purchases and licensing

Contact and early-access forms request name, email, organization and information you choose to provide. The site identifies Formspree for form processing and Stripe for payments. License delivery uses customer contact information. These records support inquiries, purchases, delivery and customer support. Review decision: Confirm the current providers, licensing communications, technical logs/cookies and the correct legal entity and mailing address.

3. Local broadcasting and internet connections

GoTuned supports local-network broadcasting. Audio is delivered between broadcasting and listening devices using WebRTC. Internet access, remote listeners and configured relay services can change the route and recipients of session information. Do not assume every operating mode keeps all session data on one device or server.

4. Optional AI captions and translation

When AI captions are enabled, the broadcaster's browser captures short microphone-audio segments and sends them to the server running the installation. That server sends audio to OpenAI for transcription and may send recognized text to OpenAI for translation. Captions are then made available to participating devices according to the session's settings.

When AI spoken translation is enabled, the broadcaster's browser sends microphone audio directly to OpenAI and receives translated speech for the broadcast. These AI features involve external processing even when listeners are on the same local Wi-Fi network. They are separate from the downloadable recording feature.

Review decision: Confirm enabled models/services, the account holder and contractual roles, processing countries, provider retention and data-use settings, and participant notices/choices. This draft makes no promise of zero provider retention or exclusively local AI processing.

5. Recordings, transcripts, camera and snapshots

The host can activate a separate recording feature and download recordings. Podcast operation can create separate speaker tracks. Hosts can save transcripts; the host can expose a transcript Save control to listeners. Restricting that control does not prevent recipients from copying content they can already see or hear. Optional camera and snapshot features may also create or share session information depending on configuration.

The caption server writes temporary audio files and attempts to delete them after processing. A processing failure, crash or deletion failure can leave files behind. Downloaded recordings/transcripts remain on the recipient's device until handled there. Review decision: Confirm snapshot, log, backup, exported-copy and provider retention/deletion procedures. Production diagnostic logs should be checked for transcript text and session credentials.

6. Notice and participant choices

The host starts broadcasting; optional AI and recording controls enable additional processing. A browser microphone permission or organizer confirmation is not a complete statement of all participants' legal rights. Organizers should explain broadcasting, AI processing, recordings, intended audiences and saved copies before those activities begin.

Review decision: Counsel must determine the appropriate notice and consent process for the event, participants and jurisdictions, including minors and sensitive conversations. Specify available alternatives and withdrawal procedures.

7. Requests, security and retention

Send privacy questions or requests to privacy@goenhanced.com. Requests concerning an independently operated installation may also need to be addressed to its operator. Applicable rights can include access, correction, deletion, withdrawal, portability and regulator complaints, depending on the law. This draft does not limit those rights or statutory deadlines.

Review decision: Finalize identity verification, retention criteria by category, deletion exceptions, backup handling, security safeguards and incident-response responsibilities. Do not promise that deleting a local session deletes copies already downloaded or processed by a provider.

8. International and final review

U.S., Brazilian and other applicable requirements must be assessed against the actual offering and processing. The Portuguese translation is provided for readability and is not a certification of LGPD compliance. Finalize lawful bases, international-transfer arrangements, required contacts/representatives, age eligibility and material-change notices before publishing a finalized policy.
